Hewbonn Volunteers Celebrate Children’s Day with Rehabilitation Center Children

## A Sweet Summer, Shared Together

Children's Day is one of the most anticipated days of the year for every child. This year, Hewbonn volunteers once again visited a local rehabilitation hospital to celebrate with children receiving therapy and rehabilitation services.

Along with activity supplies, the team brought freshly cut watermelon—a simple summer treat they hoped would make the day even more special.

Throughout the event, children took part in games including ring toss, bean sorting, flower arranging, basketball shooting, and fishing activities. As the games continued, shy smiles gradually turned into laughter. Every successful throw, every finished flower arrangement, and every small achievement became a moment worth celebrating.

Rather than focusing on encouragement through words, the volunteers simply spent time beside the children—playing together, laughing together, and sharing in each small victory.

Before the event ended, everyone gathered to enjoy slices of watermelon. As conversations filled the room and laughter echoed through the hall, it became clear that happiness often comes from the simplest moments: a fun game, a sweet slice of fruit, and the joy of being together.

For children undergoing rehabilitation, every step forward requires extra patience and courage. Their smiles reminded us that when people feel supported and included, each new day can bring hope and confidence.
